We built this because franchise networks deserve better tools

Every franchise is someone's life's work. A recipe perfected over years. A service standard that customers trust. A brand that means something. Then the network grows — and the founder can no longer be at every location. That's the moment everything either scales or breaks.

Most franchise software treats this moment as a control problem. We see it differently. A franchise network is a family of businesses that share a brand, a standard, and a commitment to growth. They don't need surveillance. They need an operating system that helps every location succeed — through training, clarity, and shared accountability.

That's why we called it Franchise.Family.

What we believe

Alignment over control

Consistency comes from shared understanding, not surveillance. We build systems where people want to meet standards — because they understand why those standards exist.

Growth as proof

Our pricing is per-location, not per-seat. We earn more only when your network grows. If you don't grow, we haven't earned.

Standards as care

High standards aren't policing. They're how you protect every team member, every customer, every location. A standard is a form of care.

Language as respect

Speaking your franchisees' language isn't a feature checkbox. It's basic respect for the people in your network. English, Italian, Spanish — fully native, not AI-translated. More languages coming.

Built to be trusted with what matters

Your training data, your audit history, your team's performance — we treat them like our own. 99.9% uptime, GDPR compliance, and a product that works when your 200th location opens at 6 AM.

Our Story

08

2008The classroom

I started building operations tools for distributed businesses — knowledge bases, checklists, training sites, audit forms. Each one solved a piece of the problem. None of them held together. The pattern was always the same: you can train people, but they only follow standards they understand.

24

2024The franchise shift

Franchise networks turned out to be the hardest version of this problem. Franchisees aren't employees — you can't just give orders, and most franchise software pretended otherwise. We rebuilt the platform around the franchise model from the ground up: 360° quality assessment with Gap Radar, Location Launch Control, network-wide gamification, and native multilingual support — all designed for alignment, not control.

25

2025The "Family" philosophy

A year of testing with real franchise operators sharpened the core idea. Networks that used the platform stopped feeling like HQ versus its franchisees and started acting as one team. That's where "Alignment over control" — and the name Franchise.Family — came from.

2026Franchise.Family launches

We brought the platform to market as a dedicated operating system for franchise networks: mature engineering underneath, franchise-native philosophy on top. Train. Launch. Grow.

Meet the Founder

Ernest Barkhudarian

Founder, Franchise.Family

Long before Franchise.Family, I was running operations across multi-location businesses — flower delivery networks, e-commerce, retail. Same wall every time: how do you make a hundred different places feel like one company?

I tried everything in sequence. First spreadsheets — they fell out of date the moment a new manager arrived. Then group emails. Then group chats. Then messaging apps showed up — WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack channels per region, per role, per project — and I thought we'd cracked it. We hadn't. Information was somewhere, but never where you needed it. Training was a PDF nobody opened. Standards lived in someone's head. New locations launched late because the new operator didn't know which checklist mattered today.

I kept building tools — a knowledge base here, a checklist app there, a training site for one client, an audit form for another. Each one solved a slice of the problem. None of them held together.

Franchise.Family is what all those scattered tools should have been from the start. One operating system, not seven apps. Built for the model where you can't just give orders — you have to align.
